This is the first time in Norway that political candidates are video-interviewed in English before the general election and the interviews are published in many languages. Watch the interview here on valg.morsmal.org in your language!
Morsmal.org has challenged top candidates from major political parties in Bergen with the question: "60 Seconds: Why should immigrants vote for your party?". The aim of the challenge is to contribute to a greater political awareness, knowledge and voter participation among immigrants.
The interview are provided with subtitles in 70 different languages. Please feel to improve the quality of the current translations or contribute with a new language translation (follow instructions below the video). Each day, leading up to the to the general election day on 9th September, we will publish the video interviews here on Election 2013 - Videos section.

Video transcript - "60 Seconds with Odd Arild Viste (Red Party)" My name is Odd Arild Viste and I am a candidate for the Red Party.
The reasons for you to vote for us is because two important reasons.
The first is capitalism, which is not sustainable; not for the climate and not for the people.
We want a society which appreciate people's values and climate.
The second reason is because we want less economical differences between people.
The most important thing is social housing.
We want a social housing that the society must take responsibility for everyone.
